More PROS than cons!
MyLifePool is a community full of positive respectful open-minded and supportive people like you.
Through our safe, non-intrusive social media app, you connect with like-minded people through kind, meaningful communication.
This is what myLifePool is all about; sharing interests, information, friendship and peer support. We all have different interests, hobbies and passions and finding like-minded people to share them with can be difficult.
Here is a great example of our community peer support in action.
The Nuffield Health and ‘fitness centre’ share their resources and host a monthly myLifePool meet up, where LifePoolers with babies can get together for lunch and take their little ones swimming together, free of charge. This can be a bit of a juggle, especially if you have more than one child, therefore retired LifePoolers come along to offer a helping hand!
Pictured below are Briony and her twins along with Jen and Jowho gift their time to help out.
All myLifePool groups are set up and run by our members. Whether you are looking for people who share your passion for knitting, beer drinking or saving the planet, myLifePool groups are the place to start.
Working Mums Network Meet Up
Every idea, group or social movement starts with one person, someone who is passionate and cares enough about something to take action.
Passions are the things we care deeply about, being a part of something we are passionate about makes us feel good and gives us a sense of achievement.
We may not consider ourselves to be either gifted or skilled around many of the things we feel passionately about, but we are still prepared to show up, join a community group or movement and make a difference.
myLifePool groups and movements are not driven by a sense of duty; they are driven by passionate people, and they all start with just one person.
Some of the best resources, charities and peer support groups are built and run by local people who have personal experience and are passionate about supporting others.
To keep services as accessible as possible, charges are often kept to a minimum, meaning they are often hard to find, as advertising and marketing don’t come cheap. If you have found, or are a part of, a local organisation or group that offers services to people in our area, please add the info to our free resource directory.
myLifePool holds many of its own events, as well as listing events from other local organisations.
If you are a preferred partner or a charitable organisation hosting a local event, or if you are a member who has spotted an event that might be of interest to other LifePoolers, please let us know and we will get it added to our event calendar.
From small PTA fundraising events to festivals in the surrounding areas, we want to hear about it.
