myLifePool Flying Solo group is for all of you fantastic parents who are parenting ‘solo’.
Parenting on your own or co-parenting can be a challenge and often lonely, especially during the weekends and hols!
Our Flying Solo group brings together solo parents to share tips and advice whilst offering an understanding ear and of course, the occasional weekend gathering and night out.
Whatever the circumstances that have led you to Flying Solo, the challenge is the same. Meeting up with other people in the same boat as you who can relate to the solo parenting lifestyle can be really empowering and helpful.
At our launch event, we will be getting to know each other and sharing ideas for future events and Meet Ups.
It will be nicely informal, with plenty of toys out to entertain the kids and refreshments will be provided.
It’s natural to feel anxious about coming along to someone you but please don’t worry, I will be there to welcome and support you and introduce you to others.
You may enter a room of strangers, but you will leave with a new group of friends.
