Nurture and Navigate is a monthly Sunday morning group designed for families who want something a little more thoughtful when it comes to social connection.
It’s especially for children who might find the social world overwhelming, whether they’re neurodivergent, waiting for a diagnosis, or just need a gentler pace. But just as importantly, it’s for families with children who are socially confident, caring, and naturally inclusive.
By bringing families together from different starting points, we create a space where children can learn from one another, where some grow in confidence, and others grow in understanding. It’s not a therapy session or a formal structured event, it’s a warm, inclusive environment where children can just be themselves and parents can connect over shared values.
We believe these kinds of mixed spaces are powerful. They help break cycles of isolation and give all children the chance to build friendships that are rooted in empathy, patience, and genuine connection.
Nurture and Navigate runs on the last Sunday of every month from 10am to 12pm at Oatlands Community Centre.
