Come along with lifepooler Ella for a relaxed walk around the Stray. We’ll start outside Trinity Methodist Church near the Prince of Wales Roundabout on Trinity Road, HG2 9AU. We we then stroll from there around the stray to Montpellier Hill and back up, ending at West Park Hotel for a coffee.

Hello, I’m Ella – 28 years old and mum to a 5-week-old daughter (delivered by emergency c-section). When I’m not on maternity leave, I work as a People Partner for a consultancy in Leeds and serve as a trustee at Oatlands Community Centre. I’m Harrogate born and bred, with a Liverpool university stint in between. As the first among my friends to become a parent, I’m keen to meet other mums who appreciate honesty, genuine support, and friendships that feel welcoming without being intense. My happy places involve good coffee (and the occasional glass of wine), walks with dogs, and authentic chats about the reality of parenting – the wonderful bits and the tricky ones and gossiping about the latest episode of MAFS.
